Fire officials are investigating after a fire broke out in a Leamington apartment building.
The Leamington fire department responded to the building on Garrison Ave., on Thursday around 4pm.
Fire officials say the blaze was contained to one unit, causing mainly smoke damage in the unit and in a hallway.
A Leamington firefighter fell while battling the fire and has attended a local hospital to be treated for a minor shoulder injury.
Damage is estimated at around $5,000. The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
