Essex County Has A New CAO

The County of Essex has named its new Chief Administrative Officer, and it is Robert Maisonville.

He was the director of corporate services and the treasurer for the county.

Maisonville started his career with the county in 1990 as a financial analyst. He was promoted to his most recent position in 1999.

He will take over the position from Brian Gregg.

County Warden Tom Bain says the search for a new CAO was extensive.

“We conducted our search using a variety of platforms, and we received a number of interested applicants,” says Bain. “We have every confidence that he has the vision and dedication to fully serve the residents of Essex County.”

Maisonville will transition into his new role on September 7.
