A severe thunderstorm watch and warning has ended for Chatham-Kent, while a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada forecasted favourable conditions for the development of severe thunderstorms Friday, which were capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
A tornado watch was also issued in the region Friday night.
