The Town of Tecumseh has set a makeup date for its rained-out Canada Day fireworks show.
The town announced Thursday via Twitter that the fireworks display will take place on Saturday, September 2, during the long Labour Day weekend.
The show had originally been scheduled for June 30 as part of the town's Canada 150 celebration but was cancelled due to heavy rain in the area.
At the time, town officials said the fireworks would be rescheduled for sometime later in the summer.
Lakewood Park was the venue for the June 30 show, but the town said further details for the makeup show would be released before the event.
