The Windsor Police Service has a new diversity officer.
Sergeant Neil McEachrane is taking over the job from Sergeant Wren Dosant.
McEachrane says it's really important to him to get out in the community and promote diversity in the police service.
"It's part of my job to do a lot of outreach in our community, and let people know exactly what we are about. I'm eager to do it, and I think I'll be very successful at it as well," says McEachrane.
McEachrane says one of his biggest challenges will be reaching out to the many new Canadians in the community.
