The Windsor Spitfires took to the streets on Wednesday to celebrate their Mastercard Memorial Cup championship win with hundreds of fans.
The Memorial Cup Parade kicked off at 6pm, and ran down Ouellette Ave. from Wyandotte St. to the riverfront.
Afterward, fans were able to join the team at Riverfront Festival Plaza to hear speeches and get autographs.
The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Erie Otters 4-3 to win the 2017 Memorial Cup championship. They are the first home team to win the Memorial Cup since Shawinigan won in 2012.
