Express Sweep Titans In Close Game 3

The Windsor Express are headed to the Central Conference Finals after defeating the Kitchener Waterloo Titans 105-104 on Wednesday.

The Express took the lead in the first quarter and remained ahead 25-22 at the start of the second. Windsor extended their advantage to 59-49 at halftime and continued to lead by eight points heading into the final frame.

It was a nail biting fourth quarter, with the Titans taking a 102-98 lead with 2:26 left in the game. However, Windsor fought back to take a one point lead with just 27 seconds left before the buzzer.

Logan Stutz put up 26 points and six rebounds for Windsor.

The Express swept the Titans in three games in the best-of-five semi-final series.

Windsor will now take on the London Lightning in the Central Conference Finals.
