Musyj Tells CAMPP There's No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk

The CEO of Windsor Regional Hospital is urging opponents of the new acute care hospital to join the process instead of fighting it.

David Musyj says challenges and appeals from 'Citizens for an Accountable Mega-hospital Planning Process' or CAMPP are a waste of time and money and welcomes good ideas from the group instead.

"I hope there isn't an appeal but sounds like there's going to be. People gotta do what they gotta do, go through the process and have their day in court, I guess," says Musyj.

CAMPP says it's not giving up because they believe funding in Thursday's provincial budget is not an endorsement of the site near Windsor's airport.

Musyj says appeals are costly, unnecessary and this one will be unsuccessful.

"I'd rather have them spend their time and resources towards being part of making an imprint on the plan that's in front of us," Musyj says.

He says "it's time to celebrate and not dwell on the negative."
