FINA Diving Returns To Windsor

For the fourth and final year the FINA World Diving Series is coming to Windsor with 73 divers from 13 countries.

The competitions take place Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23 with medals handed out in different competitions each day.

Mitch Gellar with Diving Canada says in the year after the Olympics athletes will be experimenting and pushing themselves to try more difficult dives.

"This is a time where athletes can start introducing new dives.  So, not only are you going to see the greatest level of diving, you're also going to see the most difficult dives in the history of the sport," says Gellar.

Of the divers, 19 are medal winners from the Rio Olympics and other are world diving champions. There are eight athletes competing for Team Canada.

Tickets are still available for all three days.
