A 48-year-old man remains in critical condition after a crash on Howard Ave. in Windsor, near the Devonshire Mall.
Windsor police say a northbound Dodge Calibre veered into oncoming traffic around 5pm Monday, and hit a Honda Civic.
Witnesses stopped to notice the driver of the Dodge having a medical emergency and started administering CPR.
EMS and Windsor fire crews eventually took over first aid, and say the man was vital signs absent at one point but recovered and has been in critical condition since.
A 61-year-old woman, who was driving the Honda, was also taken to hospital and is recovering from minor injuries.
Police say charges are not expected at this time.
Howard Ave. along with the EC Row off ramp to Howard were closed for approximately four hours while police conducted their investigation.
