University Ranked Top Rising Star In Listing

The University of Windsor has earned the top spot on UniversityHub.ca's listing of rising stars.

Cited for it's access to academic counselling, health services and visibility of campus security, the university beat out Ryerson University, University of Lethbridge, Mount Allison and Algoma University.

It scored some second highest marks for technological support and the overall happiness of students and alumni.

When it comes to Windsor's climate, the university ranked third for comfortable weather conditions.

Pointing to UniversityHub.ca's listings, the Huffington Post also named the University of Windsor one of its five schools to watch. It credits substantial investments in new buildings, programs and research, including an $85.8-million grant from the Ontario government for research at the UWindsor-Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Canada Automobiles Research and Development Centre, $112-million for a new engineering school and $30-million for a new Science Research and Innovation Centre.
