Tecumseh CAO Announces Retirement

Tecumseh's Chief Administrative Officer Tony Haddad is planning his retirement.

Haddad announced this week he will be leaving the post in September 2018.

“I’m very grateful to be working with an exceptional team of professionals in Tecumseh,” says Haddad. “We have a strong Council and group of Directors that have collaborated to deliver quality programs and services to the residents and businesses of Tecumseh.”

Prior to working in Tecumseh, Haddad's career in the municipal sector took him to Oakville, the York region and the City of Windsor.

During is tenure with the Town of Tecumseh he worked to complete a life cycle financial model and acquired and developed Lakewood Park.

“Tony has been an excellent support to the Town and Council during his tenure and his guidance has allowed us to achieve the success we have,” said Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara. “Under his leadership we have experienced positive growth, increased private and commercial development, implemented successful long-term financial planning and received numerous awards and recognition. His replacement will have big shoes to fill.”

Recruitment to fill the position will begin in the spring of 2018.
