The Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre has a new interim CEO starting Wednesday.
Cathy Kelly is the CCAC's senior director of patient services now. She'll take over from Lori Marshall, who is joining the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as their new CEO.
"Since joining the Erie St. Clair CCAC in 2015, I have been impressed by the gains we have made as an organization," says Kelly. "We continue to reach more people at home, in the community and in schools with our specialized programs including Mental Health and Addictions Nursing, eShift and Telehomecare."
The appointment comes as the CCAC transitions to the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network, which is expected to formally take place later this spring and summer.
"We want to reassure all of our patients that their care will not be affected by the transition to the LHIN," says Kelly.
Kelly has over 25 years of leadership experience in roles in the community and healthcare sectors.
