Express Get Past River Lions 93-92

Darren Duncan and Juan Pattillo each scored 20 as the Windsor Express beat Niagara 93-92 at home Saturday night.

The win keeps the Express in second place in the NBL Central Division with a 10-12 record.  Windsor has won six of its last eight games.

The Express controlled the game in the first half, going into halftime with a 44-34 lead.  The River Lions roared back in the third quarter and tightened the contest, even taking the lead at the end of the third 70-64.  Windsor put together a rally toward the end of the quarter and hung on to take the win.

Also scoring in double digits for the Express were Nick Evans with 12 points, with Wally Ellenson and Warren Ward scoring ten each.  Evans also led Windsor defensively with 12 rebounds.

Carl Hall led the River Lions offensively with 21 points and defensively with 12 rebounds.  Sammy Zeglinski added 15 points while Kirk Williams, Jr. sunk 14 points and picked up nine boards.

The Express travel to face the Orangeville A's next Saturday night.
