AGW Launching New Exhibitions

The Art Gallery of Windsor is launching three new exhibitions celebrating the work of local artists in honour of Windsor’s 125th birthday this spring.

The exhibits Local Matters: Mary Celestino, Elio Del Col, Adèle Duck, Zeke Moores and Tony Mosna, Position As Desired: Exploring African Canadian Identity/Photographs, and Suzy Lake: Performing an Archive opened this week.

They focus on “ways in which the artists experience and materialize the notion of ‘home'” in honour of Windsor’s 125th birthday and Canada’s 150th.

The Winter-Spring 2017 exhibitions will be open at the gallery until May 7, 2017.
