Five people, including two Canadians, are dead after a shooting at a nightclub in the Caribbean coast resort of Playa del Carmen.
The Globe and Mail reports two of the dozen people injured were Canadian.
The incident began early Monday morning, when a man opened fire outside the Blue Parrot nightclub where patrons were attending the BPM Festival, a celebration of electronic music.
The BPM Festival released a statement on its Facebook page on Monday afternoon.
