Around 250,000 L of wine was lost at Pelee Island Winery after holding tanks were intentionally tampered with over the weekend.
Essex County OPP are investigating the mischief at the winery's Kingsville location sometime overnight on Sunday.
They say large holding tanks containing both red and white wine were intentionally tampered with and all the wine was lost.
The OPP is asking anyone with information regarding the crime or person(s) responsible to call police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
