Unionized workers at Integram Seating have overwhelmingly voted in favour of strike action.
Following the vote Sunday morning at the Fogolar Furlan Club in Windsor, union employees voted almost unanimously, 99.2%, to walk off the job November 4 if a new contract is not ironed out by midnight November 3.
The supplier creates auto seats for vehicle assembly across the province, but Fiat-Chrysler's Windsor Assembly Plant would be greatly affected if there is a strike.
Workers currently have a starting salary of $17.33 an hour.
Wages, hiring and job security appear to be the main sticking points.
