After issuing 35 tickets in an enforcement blitz outside Vincent Massey Secondary School, a City of Windsor official says more crackdowns are likely in the future.
Windsor police cracked down on illegal parking and stopping on streets around the school Wednesday morning and afternoon. A total of 13 tickets were laid during a 45-minute session in the morning and another 22 in the afternoon. There's another session planned for 2:45pm Thursday afternoon.
The tickets range from a $40 fine for stopping in a no stopping zone, to $100 for obstructing the flow of traffic.
Pedestrians have complained it's not safe to walk in the area, and drivers say their sight lines are being obstructed.
