Two shotguns are among the items stolen following a rash of break-ins Amherstburg police are investigating.
Surveillance video caught a man in the early morning hours of July 8 entering a vehicle. Amherstburg police say eight incidents have been reported along Lakeside Dr., but more are expected to surface.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, average height with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap, a long baggy light coloured t-shirt and baggy pants, possibly blue jeans.
The suspect also could be driving a silver or grey vehicle, police add.
A 50" TV, sports memorabilia and two shotguns were some of the items taken when multiple garages were ransacked.
The two 12-gauge shotguns were taken from a locked gun safe, however the suspect was able to find the nearby key. There were other weapons in the safe the man left behind.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
