Express Outlast River Lions

The Windsor Express beat the Niagara River Lions 112-96 in their final regular season home game at the WFCU Centre.

On Friday, the River Lions were first to take the lead with a 28-18 advantage going into the second quarter, but the Express were able to turn the tide to make it 54-43 at halftime. Windsor scored a 88-68 lead in the third quarter, and held on to win with a 16 point lead at the end of the final frame.

Maurice Bolden led Windsor with 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Shaquille Keith, Kirk Williams Jr. and Chris Commons put up 17 points each.

The Express will take on the Lightning in London for their final regular season game on Saturday at 7pm.

Windsor will then face the River Lions in the first round of the NBL Canada playoffs. Game 1 is scheduled for Monday at 7:30pm in Windsor.
