World Gym management has released a public statement regarding apparent opening delays at their new LaSalle location.
In a post on the gym's Facebook page, officials say construction is "well behind schedule" at the site on Malden Rd. The location was originally slated to be open in December.
The statement comes after a video which allegedly shows a potential member being denied a refund by World Gym staff. The video has since been removed from the user's Facebook page.
World Gym goes on to say the gym will still open, and weekly progress updates will be posted in the future. Any membership questions should be addressed in person at their pre-sale office.
World Gym officials have yet to be reached for further comment.
