Tuesday night's lone junior hockey matchup saw the Essex 73's double up the Lakeshore Canadiens 4-2.
The game saw the lead change hands throughout the night, but it was Anthony Cristofaro`s late third period goal that sealed it for the 73`s with just over two minutes to go in the game.
Matthew Hebert would add an empty netter late, he also had an assist on the night.
Up next for Essex is a Sunday night matchup against Blenheim. Lakeshore will face Dresden Friday night.
