Success Snowballing For YQG

Windsor's International Airport is enjoying what could end up being its most profitable year ever, as passenger volume has never been higher.

That according to YQG's Board of Directors Chair Drew Dilkens, who says positive numbers allow the airport to bring in new airlines and flights like the recently added National Airlines to Orlando ones.

"We keep adding, and fighting to add new flights and new destinations for people and they continue to be well received. The success is building on the success, I think."

In the case of National Airlines, Dilkens says its a very real possibility that more flights are added out of Windsor once it deems the Orlando venture successful.

He adds that it's positive for the airport, but also for the local economy, as return flights from these destinations will often bring new visitors to Windsor.
