The Windsor man charged with first-degree murder in the death of Dan Major is back in court later this month to set a pre-trial date.
Derek Gammon appeared by video in a provincial court today. His next appearance is October 20.
Major was found unconscious at the Brant St. duplex he shared with Gammon on September 2. He died of his injuries soon after paramedics arrived. His death was Windsor's second homicide in 2015.
Gammon is still waiting for a bail hearing on an assault charge.
