Essex residents get the chance to choose which playground design they would like to see replace an old structure near the Harrow fair grounds.
13 different concepts will be on display at today's open house, each of which are accessible, with slides and swings. They also each have a different theme.
Deputy Mayor Richard Meloche says one focuses on the family farm. "I know I saw one of the themes. It has a pretend tractor kids can sit in, and a barn. Sort of like a little playhouse sort of thing."
The open house is at the Harrow Arena from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Council will make the final decision.
Total cost is expected to be about $200,000, with construction scheduled for the fall.
