Damage is pegged at around $15,000 after an apartment fire in Windsor.
The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says on Thursday around 3pm, the fire broke out on the eighth floor of an apartment building located at 8575 Riverside Dr. E.
All occupants were able to make it out of the apartment and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and was confined to the kitchen.
Riverside Dr. E from Lauzon Rd. to Riverdale Ave. was closed for around an hour while fire crews were at the scene. It has since been reopened.
