A terrifying afternoon for one Windsor family after police say a random guy, who appeared to be "out of it", walked in their home.
Police say young children were playing in the backyard when the man passed by them and made his way in the back door.
The people inside ran out the front and called police.
Dozens of officers swarmed the 900-block of Chatham St. E, along with the Emergency Services Unit. A group of officers with their rifles drawn approached the house. Police say they did receive reports the man had a weapon, but nothing was found.
Soon after, police say the man exited the back door and was placed under arrest. A woman, who didn't want to be named, witnessed the arrest and says the man put up a fight and was tasered by police.
One man has been charged with a break and enter related offence.
