LaSalle police have released video of the vehicle believed to be involved in the hit-and-run that killed a cyclist.
Constable Harbinder Gill says a 38-year-old man was hit by a mid to full-sized SUV around 9:45pm on Huron St., near Matchette Rd. Thursday night. "He had sustained some serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he died of those injuries."
The video shows a vehicle travelling east on Huron St., then making a turn going north on Matchette Rd.
Police say the vehicle may have damage to the front end or undercarriage.
According to Gill, officers are still working to confirm the identity of the victim and next-of-kin still haven't been notified.
