Windsor's Sunshine Lists Come Out

The number of employees at Windsor Regional Hospital making more than $100,000 has more than doubled since last year.

Public sector employers are releasing their so-called Sunshine Lists today, and at Windsor Regional Hospital 184 made the list, up from 72 in 2014. President and CEO David Musyj topped the list with an income of $447,703. That compares with his counterpart at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, Ken Deane, who made $348,567 last year.

At the City of Windsor, 568 employees made over $100,000. CAO Helga Reidel pulled in $256,832 while former Mayor Eddie Francis made $150,426. Current Mayor Drew Dilkens would not have made the list on a councillor's salary.  A report detailing the earnings of all city councillors will be made public at a city council meeting on April 7.

At the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board, Director of Education Paul Picard made $235,781.  President of the University of Windsor, Alan Wildeman made $317,000 and is one of 522 names on the university's sunshine list.

By provincial law, public sector employers have until the end of the day to release their Sunshine Lists.
