Express Welcoming Sandwich Teen Group

The Ambassador Bridge Company is sending 150 west Windsor youth to a Windsor Express playoff game.

Tickets have been purchased, and buses have been rented for tomorrow night's Game 2 of the conference finals versus Brampton.

Windsor Councillor John Elliott is organizing the event through the Sandwich Teen Action Group. "There are a lot of kids out on this side of town who have never been to a game. They've never even been to the WFCU Centre."

Elliott says the Express have been generous with free tickets for STAG in the past, but then the issue for most youth is transportation. So this partnership makes the event a reality and he expects it to be a special night.
