Hundreds of St. Patrick's Day revelers are hitting the streets of Windsor to celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland.
As legend has it, Saint Patrick led the pagan Irish to Christianity in the fourth century.
St. Patrick's Day has been celebrated in Canada as far back as 1759 by Irish soldiers stationed in the Montreal Garrison of New France.
