Another Two Stabbings In Windsor

Police were kept busy on Sunday after two people were stabbed in two separate incidents.

The Windsor Police Service says the first incident took place around 3:30am at a residence in the 100-block of California Ave. during a domestic dispute. Police say a 21-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening stab wound and was taken to hospital. A 20-year-old woman has since been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

The second stabbing occurred around noon at a residence in the 5400-block of Lassaline Ave.  Police say an altercation between two people led to a 26-year-old man being stabbed. The attacker fled the scene before police arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police say officers, along with a K9 unit, were able to track a man from the residence to Wyandotte St. E at Esdras Pl. where he was arrested. The accused was also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries he sustained during the altercation. Charges are pending.

These two stabbings also followed another stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday night at an apartment building on Wyandotte St. W.  Police are still looking for two suspects who are wanted for stabbing a man multiple times.
