A hit-and-run driver believed to be involved in an accident with a cyclist in October was found and arrested in Toronto.
Windsor police say a 31-year-old cyclist suffered skull fractures after being hit on Pelissier St. October 26 at around 12:40am.
After releasing photos of the vehicle involved, the public was able to help police locate the man in the Toronto-area. Police say the suspect recently had damage to the front of his car repaired, consistent with it being in an accident.
The 27-year-old Windsor man was arrested November 27 and charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm.
