Windsor's drinking water is in good hands.
That according to the latest report from the Ministry of the Environment, who's given the Windsor Utilities Commission 100% on a recent inspection.
General Manager John Wladarski says WUC's now scored perfectly three years in a row, which is consistency never seen in this city before. "(The MOE) is looking at policies, procedures, and risk-based elements of what we do. Are we following protocol as we say we're going to follow treatment protocol or as dictated under regulation? Are we handling our distribution system as per regulation or as per our own protocol?"
There are about 660 water entities in Ontario that are subjected to tests by the ministry.
