Armed Robbery Suspect Described

Windsor police hope the public will help them arrest a suspect after an armed robbery at a gas station on Tecumseh Rd. E.

Around 7am yesterday, a man walked into the Petro Canada in the 1100-block and threatened the clerk with a knife. He demanded money and cigarettes. Police brought in the K-9 unit, but the search for the suspect came up empty.

He is described as:

– a white man with a medium build and grey sideburns

– wearing light-coloured running shoes, dark jeans, a red facemask and white gloves

– also wearing a red hoodie under a light-coloured Nike windbreaker-style pullover jacket with two vertical dark blue stripes and one horizontal light blue stripe on the back.
