A baseball autographed by the Beatles is among collectables seized by Canadian customs officials who searched an Indiana man’s vehicle at the WIndsor-Detroit Tunnel.
The man was sent to secondary inspection while entering Canada back on Sept.21.
He told officials he was a collector, and was coming to Windsor to sell the items to a buyer in Toronto. The collectables are worth about $90,000.
Now the 54-year-old man is charged with failing to report goods, making false statements and evading payment of duties contrary to the Customs Act.
