Some proud moments recently for the Windsor Police K-9 Unit at the United States Police Dog Association regional trials.

At the competition in Livonia, the unit won an armload of trophies placing first in five categories including searching, apprehension and agility.

The overall score was in excess of 570 and the team now qualifies for the national championships.
