Officials in Leamington are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at an abandoned barn during yesterday’s thunderstorm.

Firefighters were called to Wilkinson Dr. and Elliott St. around 4:45pm.

The fire completely destroyed the building but no one was hurt.  So far, there’s no damage estimate.

Leamington Fire Services blames unattended cooking for a house fire on Lutsch Ave.

Firefighters were called to the home just before 3pm yesterday.  Nobody was hurt but the fire caused $10,000 damage.
