The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board is giving layoff notices to 10% of its teachers.
As it stands, 121 elementary school teachers and between 60 and 70 secondary school teachers will be laid off come September.
But, Executive Superintendent of Human Resources, Jamie Bumbacco says there are a lot of unknowns at this point. “We could get more students over the summer.
