Police Briefs- August 3, 2017

A Windsor Police Drug and Gun Unit investigation has led to charges.

A 40-year-old Windsor woman is facing charges after police executed a search warrant of a home on Union St. Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

During the investigation police seized cocaine, heroin, fentanyl pills, a spring loaded knife and $540 in Canadian cash. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of $4,130.

The woman is facing three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
