Police Briefs- June 2, 2017

Windsor police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at a pharmacy on Howard Ave. near Foch Ave.

The robbery happened Thursday around 3:30pm in the afternoon. The suspect entered the store and approached the counter demanding drugs. He lifted his shirt showing the butt of a handgun.

The suspect was given some narcotics and he fled on foot across the train tracks near Fraser Ave.  A mid-size black SUV was waiting for the suspect and left the area northbound on Fraser.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, around 5’7″ tall and skinny. He was wearing a white or grey t-shirt and wire rimmed aviator style sunglasses.
