Sarnia Sting forward Jamieson Rees picked up his first point for Canada's U18 team on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old centre assisted on Josh Williams' 3rd period goal in Team Canada's 4-2 win over Slovakia.
Rees slid a pass in front of the Slovak net midway through the 3rd to find Williams for an easy tap-in goal.
The win moved Canada to 2-0 at the Hilika Gretzky Cup in Edmonton.
The Canadians play Sweden on Wednesday night at 9 pm. The winner of the game will take top spot in Group A.
