Sting Well-Represented in OHL Coaches Poll

Captain Jordan Kyrou was voted the top stickhandler in the Western Conference, as well as second smartest player, second best playmaker, and second best skater.

Drake Rymsha was voted the top faceoff man, while Michael Pezzetta is the number two ranked body checker, and Franco Sproviero is the third most underrated player.

Anthony Salinitri tied for third best penalty killer, Ryan McGregor tied for third best defensive forward, and Cam Dineen ranked third best offensive defenceman.

Jonathan Ang was rated third best shootout shooter, goalie Justin Fazio is the second best shootout goalie, and Connor Schlichting is the third most improved player.

The poll provides coaches with the chance to recognize the top three players in 20 different skill categories within their own conference.

The Sting have just two more games left in the regular season. They head to London on Friday night and Owen Sound on Saturday.

Sarnia will host games one and two of the playoffs on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24. Their first round opponent is to be determined.
