The Sting dropped a 4-2 decision to the Guelph Storm on Friday in Sarnia's final game of the regular season.
After no scoring in the first period, Anthony Salinitri kicked things off for the Sting with a goal 4:14 into the second. Guelph was able to score twice in the second frame to take the lead, but Salinitri scored his second of the night to tie things up at 2-2 going into the third.
However, the Storm scored two unanswered goals in the final frame to earn the win.
Guelph also outshot Sarnia 39-29.
The Sting now will go on to the playoffs to face off against the first place team in the Western Conference.
