The LKSSAA winter season is nearing an end as playoffs begin to wrap up locally.
Mason Best scored 17 points as St Francois-Xavier got by Lambton-Kent 46-40 in the "A" Senior Boys Basketball semifinals. They will play Pain Court in the finals Tuesday, February 21. Friday, LCCVI hosts John McGregor in the "AA" Senior Girls Volleyball Finals. Finals are set for Saturday in junior and senior boys basketball. In senior play, LCCVI is at John McGregor for a 3pm tip off in the "AA" finals. Unbeaten Norther hosts Great Lakes in the "AAA" finals, for a 5pm tip off. St. Pat's is at Chatham Kent for a 4pm start in the Junior Boys 'AAA' Finals. Playoffs begin next week in both senior girls and boys hockey.
