The Sarnia Sting has just two more games before a nine day Christmas Break.

It was an up and down weekend for the Sting who won a thrilling 3-2 decision over Plymouth Friday then fell 9-1 to Kingston Saturday.

The Sting’s Nikolay Goldobin scored twice in the last minute, including one with seven seconds left to cap the Sting’s win Friday.

Wyoming native Ryan Verbeek scored four goals to power the Frontinacs to victory Saturday.

The Sting will be signing autographs and selling team cards from 6:30 until 7:30pm tonight at Bayview Chrysler. They are back in action Wednesday in Owen Sound.


LSSAA Boys High School Hockey:

Undefeated SCITS plays winless North Lambton at Sarnia Arena this afternoon in LSSAA boys hockey action. The Bluebombers are tied for first with LCCVI at 3-0.
