The fourth annual Sarnia Bay Charity Poker Run raised big bucks for two local charities.
The event, which saw powerboats speed down the St. Clair River on Saturday, raised $24,000 this year.
Half the money raised will go to Noelle's Gift and the other half will be donated to St. Joseph's Hospice.
Andrew S. Brandt Marina Operator Dave Brown says the event was a huge success.
"To say the least, it's one more sign of the people that are working towards these charities, which is outstanding," he says.
Brown says they're already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
