Point Edward continues to benefit from hosting Gateway's waterfront casino.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation [OLG] has issued first-quarter non-tax gaming revenue payments to communities hosting casinos across the province.
Pt. Edward is getting nearly $645,000 for the period from April to June of this year.
Since the waterfront casino opened in April 2000 the village has received over $43.4-million from the OLG.
