Man Arrested In Gunpoint Robberies

A St. Clair Township man has been charged in a pair of armed robberies that happened within three hours of each other on June 10.

A 64-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint at an ATM on Trudeau Dr. in Sarnia around 5:15pm by a man wearing a black mask.

The suspect fled the area northbound on Trudeau Dr.

Around 8:20pm, a Corunna convenience store on St. Clair Pkwy. was held up by a man with a handgun.

The suspect made off with a quantity of cash in a car heading east on St. Clair Blvd.

Lambton OPP worked with the Sarnia Police Crime Unit and were able to link the suspect to both incidents.

Brett Andrew Farr, 27, was arrested on Monday and faces charges including robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, using an imitation firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He was in police custody pending a bail hearing.
